Vercel case study

The lesson

Put the results in a box just below the headline and subhead so a reader gets the outcome before the story.

The move

The headline is "How Vercel helped this popular health database increase free trials by 284%". Below a byline and subhead, a card lists 90% for build times and 284% for trials, with the products used and a "Talk to an Expert" button. The story then runs to "Moving to Vercel for measurable results", then a pull quote.

Why it works

  • Our readThe results card repeats the headline's number and adds a second one, so a skimmer leaves with the claim even if they stop there.
  • Our readListing the products used in the card tells a technical reader which parts of the platform were involved.
  • Our readThe before section quotes the lead developer on a messy setup, which gives the improvement a specific starting point.

What not to copy

Don't borrow the 284% framing unless the customer's own number supports it, and don't name a causal link you can't show. Keep the numbers-first card and the specific before-state.
