The lesson

In a media kit, print the audience figure you cannot source as an empty slot with the reason; let sourced numbers carry the page.

The move

A media kit rebuilt as a deck by Pitch Unfairly. The numbers slide shows 10,747 days, 4,926 cameras, 24 hours and 0 ad breaks, each with a source line. A VIEWERS row says "The film never gives a head count, so this kit doesn't print one." The inventory slide pairs a camera grid with "CAM 0412 Car stereo".

Why it works

  • Our readAdmitting the missing viewer count in the layout makes the other four figures look checked.
  • Our readThe inventory slide shows numbered camera thumbnails, and the selected one gets a "FITS" line, so a buyer can picture a placement instead of a rate-card category.
  • Our readThe ad-formats slide tags three formats SET, PROP and CAST and calls the CAST format premium, which gives the buyer an upsell path.

What not to copy

Every number here belongs to a fictional show and is not a benchmark. Keep the blank-with-reason slot and the one-camera-one-placement inventory.
