The lesson

End a one-page case study on four big numbers with plain labels, and keep everything above them short enough to read in a minute.

The move

The title is "Uncovering Engaged Audiences for Audi" beside a photo of the car. Two short columns, "A Premium Opportunity" and "A Premium Partnership," sit next to a quote from Loren Angelo of Audi of America. At the bottom, 140%, 125% and 35% beat labelled benchmarks, and 1st is "consumer auto brand to use carousel ads."

Why it works

  • Our readThree numbers name the benchmark they beat and the fourth says what it was first at, which keeps the stats from feeling like decoration.
  • Our readThe line that Audi previously ranked fifth gives "rocketed to first" a starting point, so the jump has a visible before and after.
  • Our readThe client's marketing VP is quoted describing the approach in their own terms, and the page stays at a size a prospect might actually finish.

What not to copy

Don't copy the benchmark framing if you can't name who set the benchmark. Keep the page length, the labelled stats and the before-rank line.
