The lesson

Gate a research report with a page that states the sample size and what the report covers, set right beside the form.

The move

A two-column page: left, the title 'Figma's 2025 AI report', 'What designers and developers think about AI', a line saying a survey of 2,500 product builders across seven countries, and three bullets on what the report covers. Right, a 'Get the full report' form asking for six fields and a 'Get your copy' button.

Why it works

  • Our readPutting the sample size and countries beside the form tells the visitor the data is real before they hand over an email.
  • Our readThree bullets name the angles of the report, so the visitor knows what they are trading their details for.
  • Our readThe form and the pitch share the first screen, so nobody has to scroll to find the ask.

What not to copy

Six required fields, including job title and company size, is a lot to ask, so cut to what you will use. Keep the survey specifics and bullets beside the form.
