The lesson

Open a conference-day post with one sentence of what you're bridging and why, and let a sample project on screen carry the proof.

The move

The post copy begins "Just announced at #Config2023: We're bridging the gap between design and development, so teams can build products faster. This starts with making Figma a better place for developers." The video shows three Buttercup flower-shop mobile screens (Flore Farms, Browse, Iris Reticulata) with a blue arrow tracing the flow, above a bar reading "Config 2023 Features".

Why it works

  • Our readA single plain sentence names the two groups the product connects, so readers know who it is for before the "...more" cutoff.
  • Our readThe screens show a specific shop with product names and prices, so the demo looks like work a team would do.
  • Our read"This starts with" frames the launch as a first step, which invites follow-up posts and comments.

What not to copy

Don't copy the vague 'Config 2023 Features' bar. Keep the event hashtag, the single-sentence promise in the visible lines, and a sample project that looks like a real customer's.
