Drift sales deck

The lesson

Launch a product deck as a short story with one claim per slide, and show the product only after the audience agrees with the problem.

The move

The cover is a photo of a man typing at a laptop by a city window, with the script "Introducing" above bold blue "DRIFT SEQUENCES". Inside, the deck is told in one sentence per black slide: email ruled for ten years, there's one problem, people hate it. Then comes the product, and a three-step build of how it works.

Why it works

  • Our readPutting the problem on black slides first makes the case for the pain before any feature appears.
  • Our readOne sentence per slide forces a pace a presenter can speak to without reading.
  • Our readThe cover pairs a handwritten "Introducing" with a blunt product name, signalling a launch without extra words.

What not to copy

Don't copy the photo cover or the specific email claims. Keep the order of shared problem, the turn, then step-by-step build.
