The lesson

Open a switching pitch by naming the change before you show any product, and give that claim a whole slide.

The move

The cover slide is near-black navy with the brand mark drawn as a faint glowing outline. Centered white text reads "It's time for a change," with a smaller line, "Switch to Linear to rejuvenate your product team." The deck then moves through the old way, a better way, customer quotes and a logo wall.

Why it works

  • Our readThe title states the ask of the whole deck, so the audience knows the conversation is about switching before slide two.
  • Our readAlmost no content on the slide keeps attention on one sentence and leaves room for the presenter to talk.
  • Our readThe dim outline logo sets a calm, confident tone that fits a claim about rejuvenating a team.

What not to copy

Don't open with a mood image if your buyer doesn't yet feel the old way is broken. Keep the one-claim-per-title discipline, and sell the change first.
