Freshdesk sales deck

The lesson

Demo a product by telling one customer's bad day first, then replaying the same day with the product in it.

The move

The cover is a plain white slide with "Social Support with Freshdesk" in green. The deck that follows tells the story of Ryan, who orders sneakers and receives stilettos, tweets, and waits four hours while his complaint spreads. Then it turns to "it would have been very different", shows one product screen per capability, and ends on the same story resolved.

Why it works

  • Our readA single named customer makes the cost of slow social support concrete before any feature is shown.
  • Our readPlacing the product screens between the failed story and its resolution means each capability is read against what went wrong for Ryan rather than as a menu.
  • Our readEnding on the same story resolved gives the audience a before-and-after they can repeat to a colleague.

What not to copy

Don't copy the plain cover slide. Keep the single-protagonist story, one screen per capability and the return to the same scenario at the end.
