The lesson

Open a thread with three specific facts about the result, then state exactly how many steps follow.

The move

The first post reads "Today, my little one-person business crossed $10M in total revenue." The next line gives "2,119 days", "zero ads" and "~89% margin", then "Here are the 23 steps of my wild & strange journey:" and the humble sign-off "Hope they are helpful to someone ↓". It shows 1M views and 6.2K bookmarks.

Why it works

  • Our readThe second line answers three doubts in turn: how long it took, whether ads bought it, and whether it is profitable, so proof comes before the promise.
  • Our readNaming the count of steps sets a clear finish line for the thread, which makes it easier to commit to reading.
  • Our readThe modest closing line softens a big boast and keeps the tone personal.

What not to copy

Don't borrow his numbers or the zero-ads claim unless they are true for you. Keep the structure of a hard result, the cost or time it took, and a stated number of steps.
