Rippling case study

The lesson

Open a case study with the result as the headline and two oversized numbers, and let the story below justify them.

The move

The title carries the result: "Clay automated 80% of its onboarding tasks and grew 5x in 18 months". Two cards under it read "80" employees added in 18 months and "80%" of onboarding tasks automated. Sections follow: The Problem, The Solution, three numbered features (01, 02, 03) and The Impact.

Why it works

  • Our readA reader who stops at the top still leaves with the claim and the numbers, so the long text only has to support it.
  • Our readNumbering the three features as 01, 02, 03 lets a skimmer see how many reasons the page offers and jump to one.
  • Our readThe pull quote about going from 20 to 100 employees repeats the headline in the customer's own words.

What not to copy

Don't copy the section names or the three-part count, and don't print a number you can't source. Keep the headline-plus-two-big-numbers block at the top.
