The lesson

Put the five findings in a box at the top, then make each main section heading a claim you can chart.

The move

Under the title "2025 Mid-Year LLM Market Update: Foundation Model Landscape + Economics", a gray "Key Findings" box lists five bullets, such as spend rising from $3.5B to $8.4B and Anthropic at 32% share. The main findings sections have claim headings ("Anthropic Surpasses OpenAI in Enterprise Usage"), with charts whose titles color key words orange.

Why it works

  • Our readA reader who stops after the Key Findings box has already got the report's argument with its numbers.
  • Our readHeadlines like "Enterprises Switch Models for Performance, Not Price" state a position, so each section gives a reason to read on.
  • Our readA footnote gives the survey size (150 technical decision-makers) and dates, which lets a skeptic weigh the numbers.

What not to copy

The charts lean on Menlo's own survey and orange-on-white styling. Copy the findings-first box and claim headings, but use your own data and brand.
