The lesson

Bundle several changes in one dated changelog entry, give each its own heading, and show real UI or a chart where one exists.

The move

Dated October 8, 2026, "Stacked pull requests" opens with a dark UI screenshot and a short paragraph. Further sections are "View code changes as the agent works", "AI credit usage explorer and spend limits" (a bar chart showing 573 sessions, $0.27 average, $153.34 total spend) and "Guided Reviews on Basic", then collapsed rows such as Fixes and API.

Why it works

  • Our readSeparate headings let a reader find the one change they care about without reading the whole entry.
  • Our readThe usage chart carries actual figures such as $153.34 total spend, which shows the feature instead of describing it.
  • Our readPlain paragraphs naming what a user or admin can now do make each update read as a capability, not a vague improvement.

What not to copy

Don't copy the dark minimal layout without real UI to show; the screenshots do the work. Keep one heading per change, each with a short plain paragraph.
