The lesson

Sell a gated report by publishing its findings as a scrolling page, three headline claims first, so the ask feels like a fair trade.

The move

A plum hero reads "The 2026 State of Marketing Report" with a "Get the trends" button and an orbit graphic. Three numbered cards preview the themes. Sections follow with real data: rings showing 61% and 80%, a bar chart of branding investments, and a quote from Kieran Flanagan. The CTA returns in a closing dark block.

Why it works

  • Our readShowing statistics between the hero and the closing button suggests the report has substance, which makes the click easier to justify.
  • Our readEach of the three theme titles is a claim, such as "AI is the Baseline, Not the Differentiator," so a skimmer takes away an argument.
  • Our readThe same button label appears in the hero and the closing block, so the page opens and ends on one next step.

What not to copy

Don't preview data you can't back with a source in the report. Keep the three-claim index near the top and repeat one consistent CTA.
