The lesson

Name your category idea after a borrowed concept from finance, then structure the post as a formula the reader can repeat.

The move

"GTM Alpha: How Winning Teams Build a Competitive Edge" opens with a pink alpha symbol. An illustrated stack reads "Unique data" + "Unique plays" + "GTM engineering" = "GTM Alpha". A TL;DR box, three numbered parts and an FAQ follow. Customer examples are named, such as Verkada and Rippling.

Why it works

  • Our readThe equation gives the idea a short, repeatable shape, so the argument can be retold in one line.
  • Our readNaming real customers and what each does with data makes the argument concrete enough to copy.
  • Our readAn index on the left, a TL;DR and an FAQ let a reader take what they need without finishing the article.

What not to copy

Don't copy the alpha metaphor or the product placement inside the org-chart diagram unless your category has a similar anchor. Keep the one-line formula, the TL;DR and examples with names.
