The lesson

Open a thread by stating a worsening problem with one statistic, then promise the fix in two words.

The move

Each line sits alone: "Content marketing is a lot harder these days." Then "Last year, 65% of Google searches ended without a click." Then the platform penalty for "linking out", then "The harsh truth?" with its verdict, and finally "Here's how:".

Why it works

  • Our readOne number carries the argument, and two separate pressures (search and social) are stacked so the reader feels boxed in before the fix arrives.
  • Our readEnding the first post on "Here's how:" gives the reader a reason to open the rest of the thread.

What not to copy

Don't borrow the 65% figure unless you can source it yourself. Keep the structure of problem, squeeze, blunt verdict, then the promise.
