The lesson

Open a datasheet with a clean photo of the open product under a plain name-and-category title, not a banner or a slogan.

The move

The page opens with a blue "AC43" and the plain title "Four-door controller". A photo of the open cabinet, door swung left, sits in the centre. Three "Overview" paragraphs follow, then a shaded "Key features" band in two columns with bold labels such as "Offline operations" and "Fire alarm integration (FAI)".

Why it works

  • Our readShowing the inside of the cabinet answers what the thing physically is, which suits an installer or specifier.
  • Our readThe product name and category as the title mean no one has to decode a tagline.
  • Our readBold short feature labels over a sentence or two each make the band skimmable in a few seconds.

What not to copy

Don't copy the feature wording; yours must be your own capabilities. Keep the open-product photo and label-plus-sentence feature grid.
