Peak Sales Recruiting outreach email

The lesson

Start a cold email from the prospect's own job ad and ask one question about it before you describe yourself.

The move

The subject is "[Name], how is [Company]'s sales hiring going?". The first line cites a "job ad for a Regional Sales Manager on Glassdoor" and asks whether the current strategy gets candidates "with the proven ability to produce immediate results". A short pitch and a personalized video thumbnail follow, then a calendar link and a phone number with extension.

Why it works

  • Our readNaming the exact role and where it was posted shows the sender looked at this company.
  • Our readThe ask is a question the reader can answer in their head, with a pitch line, "candidates they actually want to talk to", only after it.
  • Our readTwo ways to respond, a calendar link and a phone number, suit buyers who dislike one of them.

What not to copy

Don't copy the long question or the "top 1%" framing; it reads as a claim. Keep the specific trigger and a single question.
