Mammoth Sports Construction proposal

The lesson

Build the proposal around the buyer's own site, with a labelled aerial that shows every program element in place.

The move

A dark slide shows an aerial rendering with white callout lines: "6 indoor basketball courts (12 volleyball)", "6 indoor pickleball courts", "3 full size baseball/softball hitting tunnels", "18 holes premium miniature golf", "satellite bar", "event pavilion" and more. Labels sit at the ends of lines pointing to each building or lawn, half of them with a count.

Why it works

  • Our readSeeing each use drawn on the actual parcel lets a reader picture the finished site without reading a program list.
  • Our readQuantities in the labels (2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 18) make the scope specific enough to weigh against the project budget.
  • Our readA plain list of callouts on one image leaves no room for filler, so the slide's whole job is clear.

What not to copy

Don't copy the facilities themselves. Keep the one-image-plus-callouts format, and draw it on the real site of the buyer you are writing to.
