The lesson

Run a celebrity gag as a numbered series, with the episode number in the copy and the run's end date in the footer.

The move

The post copy reads "Episode 1 of Tony Hawk's finance career. Brought to you by Ramp." The video shows a man in a suit on a residential street, captioned "Los Angeles, CA Circa 2006", with a "HAWK!" graphic. Later he runs down the street ahead of a crowd. The footer says "New episodes through Oct 20" beside Learn more.

Why it works

  • Our read"Episode 1" and a dated run in the footer signal that more is coming, which gives the ad a reason to be remembered.
  • Our readIn the post and the shots shown, Ramp appears as the sponsor line and logo rather than as product, so the ad leads as entertainment.

What not to copy

Don't copy the celebrity budget. Keep the series framing and the end date, but only if you will actually publish the later episodes.
