Hours saved by month

Every month beat the one before, and September was the biggest yet.

Q3 saved 1,270 hours, up from 580 in Q2. Here is where the climb came from.

Hours saved per monthQ2 Q3
  1. JulyDispatch moved the daily on-time report into Lumen. It used to take two people most of Monday morning.
  2. Aug 19The TMS connection went live.Route exceptions stopped being rebuilt by hand in spreadsheets.
  3. SeptemberFinance’s close pack now builds itself.Close reporting went from 6 days to 2.

How we count: each automated run, times the minutes the same task took by hand when we timed it with your team in Q2. No estimates of “focus time”.

Adoption

93% of seats are in use, and fleet maintenance is the team still to come on board.

Goals from the Q2 review

We set five goals last time. Three hit, one is halfway, one we missed.

  • HitEvery dispatcher on Lumen24 of 24 dispatchers open it daily. The on-time report lives there now.
  • HitHalve month-end reportingBetter than half: the close pack went from 6 days to 2.
  • HitLive route-exception alertsRunning in every region since Aug 19, posted to each depot’s channel.
  • PartialConnect the TMS and the WMSThe TMS is live. The WMS is waiting on credentials from your IT team, and it is first on the Q4 list.
  • MissedFleet maintenance on daily schedulingOur training slipped twice. 8 of 10 seats are active, but scheduling still runs in a spreadsheet. On-site fix booked for Nov 4.

Questions

What finance and ops usually ask.

How do you count hours saved?

Each automated run, times the minutes that task took by hand. We timed those tasks with your team in Q2 and you can see the list in your Lumen workspace.

Do the new seats change our current price?

No. Your 85 seats stay at $540. The volume price applies to the new seats only, and all seats renew on the same date.

What if a depot is slow to adopt?

We run the same on-site playbook we used for West, and we report each depot’s weekly use in the next review so you can see it.

What do you need from our IT team?

WMS read credentials by Oct 28 and a single sign-on group for the new depots. About two hours of their time in total.

Let’s get the other four depots saving time too.

Book 30 minutes with Priya Raman to walk through the numbers before Nov 14.
